  • Stay well hydrated.
  • Use sunscreen daily and limit sun exposure.
  • Follow any additional instructions provided specifically for your treatment.

Normal Post-Treatment Effects
Depending on the treatment performed, mild redness, swelling, tenderness, bruising, or sensitivity may occur. These effects are typically temporary and should gradually improve over the next several days.

Tylenol, CBD, or Arnica may help provide comfort if needed. Please avoid anti-inflammatory medications, such as Ibuprofen, Aleve, Motrin, or Aspirin, for 5–7 days unless medically indicated. Please speak with your primary care provider before stopping or changing any
prescribed medications.

A cool compress may help reduce common swelling. Never apply ice directly to the skin. A warm compress may help bruising resolve more quickly.

What to Watch For

Mild swelling, redness, and tenderness are expected after many aesthetic treatments. However, please contact our office immediately if you notice:

  • Significant asymmetry
  • Increasing pain or warmth
  • Dark discoloration or blanching
  • Unusual lumps or bumps
  • Signs of infection, such as fever, pus, or spreading redness

These symptoms are rare, but early intervention is important if something feels off.

Healing times and aftercare recommendations may vary by treatment. Always follow any procedure-specific instructions provided by your practitioner. If you have questions or concerns about your healing process, please contact our office promptly.
