What is KYBELLA/Body Sculpt?
Deoxycholic acid is the active ingredient in Kybella®. This product is best known for reducing submental fat, commonly known as a double chin. It works by destroying fat cells in the targeted area. When injected, deoxycholic acid breaks down the fat cell membranes, causing the cells to explode, which are then metabolized and eliminated by the body. Once these fat cells are destroyed, they can no longer store or accumulate fat, leading to a more contoured and sculpted appearance.
Where can I use Kybella/Body Sculpt?
You can inject deoxycholic acid anywhere on the face or body there is excess fat. Areas like a double chin, bra bulges, inner thigh fat, banana rolls and abdominal fat.
How long do results last?
